Connect Your Own Domain

Point a domain you already own at your Midcrowd website.

If you already own a domain — from any registrar — you can connect it in Domains, inside your dashboard's Grow section. Type it in without https://, for example shop.example.com, and press Connect.

  1. Midcrowd shows you the DNS records to create — their type, name and value — at whichever company you bought the domain from.

  2. Add those exact records in your domain provider's control panel.

  3. Come back and press Check DNS now. This can take anywhere from a few minutes up to about an hour, since DNS changes take time to spread.

Note — Nothing switches over until it's verified

Midcrowd never claims a custom domain is live before it actually is — it shows a clear "not serving yet" state until the DNS check succeeds, so you never find out a link is broken from a visitor instead of from the dashboard.

Once it's verified, you can also choose which address is your main one — the free Midcrowd address or your own domain — from the same screen.
