The photography a template arrives with — in its hero, its gallery, its menu cards — is a real starting point meant to show what the layout looks like with pictures in it, not your business's actual photos. Every one of them is a normal image element, selectable and replaceable exactly like a photo you upload yourself.
Click any template photo, open Media, select your own upload, and press Replace selected — the same action described in the Media chapter. There's nothing special about a template's own images beyond being the ones already in place when you arrive.
