How a dispute proceeds
When a buyer's bank opens a dispute, the disputed amount is withheld immediately. The seller is notified with the reason and the evidence deadline, and is responsible for responding.
Outcome
If the dispute is resolved in the seller's favour the funds are returned. If not, the amount and any dispute fee are retained by the buyer's bank. Repeated disputes may lead to payout holds or suspension.
